Human phone calls
Tier 1 is $2.50 for the first minute and $1.00 for each additional minute. The default 5-minute hold is $6.50, and unused hold is released.
US and Canadian numbers. No recording. Consent required on every call.
Confirm the time, what to bring, and whether to arrive early. The answers come back on the question ids you send.
allowed_disclosures and shareable_contact are the only details the VA may share. Passwords, one-time codes, and other secrets are rejected.
The default window is weekday 09:00–17:00 in the recipient time zone. A call outside that window needs allow_outside_business_hours set to true after you confirm it.
